Crypto tokens that follow the ERC20 standard are programmable, which means that their functionality can be defined by the smart contract that creates and manages them.

One of the current challenges is the loss of credibility of some stablecoins due to issues with the solicitation process.

Using the ERC20 standard, wallets can store all ERC20 tokens together and easily manage their storage and transfer using similar functions for each token.

Only two $Shield smart contract solicitations are permitted:

  • Top-up of $Shield using US Dollar Coins (USDC) with or without the simultaneous creation of NTC-$ tokens.
  • Exchange NTC-$ tokens for US Dollar Coins (USDC) at the latest published $Shield exchange rate.
